Asbestos Wrapping Of Plumbing Pipes Common

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Nat Longo comments on an upcoming science lab renovation that is to be started where he happens to find asbestos wrapping of plumbing pipes after checking underneath the flooring…very common in labs built in the 1950s through the 1960s.  So, while on this project the crawlspace provides Nat with an opportunity to avoid having to saw-cut through concrete, he will have to be dealing with the abatement of asbestos.
