School officials had begun renovations of the former Mount St. Alphonsus Seminary and Retreat Center and they needed a multi-purpose science to teach 9th-12th grade. Longo’s laboratory consultants were called to provide design options regarding both student lab tables and space designs.
Ultimately the school chose the Sheldon Trifacial Student Lab Center with 2-student wood tables with epoxy resin counter tops. Science lab furniture was delivered at the end of August and installation was finished up this Fall.
Longo’s laboratory planners worked with the school’s administrative team and C.T. Wilson Construction to build a modern science lab classroom utilizing Sheldon’s Axis Infinity lab table. The use of these lab tables allowed the school to create a combined laboratory & lecture area within the same space.
